Despite catching the Super Bowl winning touchdown it was Plaxico Burress' off the field prowess which captured the minds of many when #17's prediction that the Giants would hold the previously unbeaten Patriots to just 17 points or less turned out to be true.
theWadeblogs thinks Plax should put some money where is mouth is and capitalize off his Super Bowl success and start his own professional prediction service. To give you glimpse of Plaxico's co.offerings we have obtained Plaxico's first 17 sports related predictions hot off the press/phone line. Only time will tell if these are right on target like Burress' Super Bowl pick

Plaxico's Prediction: Bill will next smirk (he never really smiles) in 17 months when his new spycam is covertly installed in the New Meadowlands Stadium opening in 2010.

Plaxico's Prediction: In 17 years.
In 2025 The Brazil Bombshells (an expansion team owned by Brazil's Gisele Bundchen and her ex-pat boy toy Tom Brady) will upend the London Monarchs (formally the New York Giants who jetted out of town in 2020 because their new Meadlowlands digs were "too antiquated") will run the table and go 23-0.*
*To make room for the NFL's rapid global expansion the NFL regular season will soon consist of 20 games. Bundchen will prove to be a savvy owner and be known as the next Georgia Frontiere (RIP) as she convinces outgoing commishioner Roger Goodell to hold the Super Bowl concurrent with Carnival in Brazil (that racy Super Bowl bash will go down and remembered as Superbowl L"XXX" after an aging Janet Jackson has yet another wadrodbe mishap.)
4. How much longer do we have to deal with Mercury Morris and endure hearing about the 1972 Dolphin winning/whining ways?

5. How many times will the Disneyworld bound Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning go on "Mr Toad's Wild Ride"** and Tom's Sawyer's Island Adventure (which reminds Eli of his youth in Mississippi) ?
Plaxico's Prediction: 17 times combined
** Mr Toad’s Wild ride is Eli's fav. because the ride is reminiscent of his up and down relationship with his coach not to mention Mr. Toad bears uncanny resemblance to Tom Coughlin.
6. How many times did Tiki Barber wish he didn’t retire while watching the big game?
Plaxico's Prediction: 17 times per minute
Interestingly enough how many times did Tiki regret bad mouthing Manning and Coach C. While watching them lead their team to victory... Still 0

Plaxico's Prediction: 17 wins
Doubting Thomas... yes the Kickerbockers already have 14 wins to date but Isiah will lead the team to only 3 wins the NBA's second half prompting owner James Dolan to offer the embattled coach a 17 year contract extension.
11. Who will be in the 2008 NBA playoffs and who woll win?
Plaxico's Prediction:
Despite a great Celtic regular season in which like the Patriots they will vie for the all time best won/Lost record (this time with the Bulls).... Boston fans will have to endure another championship meltdown as the Celtic go for their 17th NBA championship (wow uncanny). Another old nemesis, this time the L.A. Lakers, will arrive on the scene to snatch away the NBA trophy.
12. Speaking of trophies and snatch.... which Hollywood starlet will be Romeo tony Romo's next big love interest?
Plaxico's Prediction: Miley Cryus
Before you going crying she's too young in 17 months Miley will move past her 17th birthday and at 18 she will be regualry seen the th luxury box at the new cowboy stadium. If you are wondering the number of playoff wins he will have by then: 0 and still counting
13. How many majors will Tiger have by the end of the year?
Plaxico's Prediction: 17
Going into the 2008 season Tiger's major win total stands at 13 but he will supass his Tiger calendar slam and actually complete a major sweep in 2008 leaving him just one shy of Jack’s record 18 major victories.
14. How many more commercials will we see Manning brothers paired in 2008?
Plaxico's Prediction: 17
Already known for their ESPN spot in which the brothers are paired up together but Eli's SB win will kickstart a bevy of more commercial opportunities including :
Parker Brothers (The Manning brothers could be perfect pitchmen for the company who introduced Nerf)
Einstein Brothers bagels (Show the brother throwing passes through a giant bagel)
Hasbro (This could really rile New England fans further since the toy conglomerate is based in the Pats stronghold of Rhode Island)

Plaxico's Prediction: 17: 1 (Pretty much a lock considering that the dogs already landed their own TV show)
1: 17 (Pretty unlikely considering that Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison in December)
16. How many times will that Eli scramble - Tyree acrobatic catch be rewound and played over and over again on tivo’s across the country over the next week?
Plaxico's Prediction: 17 million times in the NYC area, 1.7 million in Mississippi region
17. Who will win the 2007 election? When will Tom Brady decide to go into politics and run for President?
Plaxico's Prediction: Too close to call in 2007. But Obama's close CA showing could very well be like the Giants - Patriots regular season match up in that it is a moral victory and could very well propel him to higher things down the road.
As far as Tom Brady goes.... After suffering career ending ankle injury caused by actually injuring his ankle while wearing a fake cast to throw off opponents in Super Bowl L, Tom Brady will decide to throw his helmet into the ring and run for President in 2016 (and will take office in 2017).
His campaign committee will wants to pair the Patriot who has strong support in the Northeast with someone who can attract the southern vote and subsequently they will urge him to call on the ever popular Mississippi governor Eli Manning to help his ticket and serve as his VP running mate.
