In the season when students have headed home for the holidays for winter break to don santa hats it turns out others have headed back to school to sport graduation caps.
Joe Namath finally graduated from the University of Alabama the other day... over 42 years after first attending the school. Evidently over the past 5 years Joe completed a 30-hour program to earn a bachelor of arts degree in "interdisciplinary studies."
TheWadeblogs has no idea what but "interdisciplinary studies" consists of but we came up with the following classes Joe could have passed with flying colors including:
"Jet propulsion" : AEROSPACE ENGINEERING
"Broadway Plays": ARTS
"Avoiding an on Air Crisis - from Jimmy the Greek to Janet Jackson to Joe Namath" COMMUNICATIONS - TV & BROADCASTING
"On my Knees" : PRE-MED ORTHOPEDICS
"Pantyhose & the Electric Shaver : 1970's marketing strategies": BUSINESS MARKETING
Despite his well known knobbly knees Broadway Joe managed to walk across the stage without a hitch as Broadway Joe reported his grades were " 'acceptable' the second time around... if I took the courses again I’d do better.”
Speaking of second time around no word yet if Suzy Kobler was there to greet Joe with a congratulatory kiss when he sheepishly collected his sheepskin.
