Snowboarder Gretchen B. takes on Brokeback Mountain

It started as a friendship...

Apparently Jake Gyllenhaal who lost out on Oscar gold this March has hitched his star to snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler  who won silver at the Olympics last February.

We don't know how much of this is a publicity snowjob but according to her handlers Gretchen is pulling up stakes in Colorado and moving to LA. We guess the new couple has shared interests considering it has been rumored that... how should we put it...
Jake likes to work the poles (we are not referring to people of Polish decent here)... or given the sports metaphor du jour should we rephrase it that Jake swings a pink bat.

We don't want to skirt the issue here but doesn't Gretchen resemble a blonde version of his sister Maggie? Comment below.

I have a feeling that this is BS. The only people who said that they are together are US Weekly and they already took the blurb about it down. A guy working at E! who actually said he was friends with Gretchen also said that the story wasn't true. Even the skipressworld site is only going off of US Weekly who let's face it is often wrong. Unless some more credible source besides US Weekly reports this, I don't buy it.
