While Paul Lo Duca's job is to catch people cheating (off first base etc.) ... the tables were turned on the Mets cathcer yesterday as his wife Sonia made front page headlines announcing she is suing the backstop for divorce.
According to the New York Post the Mets catcher got caught cheating on his wife but after reviewing the Post piece and accompanying pictures our question is this... why in the world Paul would ever cheat on a looker like Sonia? Forget former Met Ms. Anna Benson (listen to thewadeblogs Benson interview).. or Jessica Canseco who also posed for Playboy (watch thewadeblogs Canseco interview) when it comes to baseball's housewives Sonia Lo Duca might just be the ultimate catch.
It was revealed in the Post piece that Sonia appeared in Playboy and that prior to the airing of their dirty laundry to the public that Paul had planned to protect her from her past. But now that gloves are off the Lo Ducas are taking swings at one other's character in the tabloids. So we at thewadeblogs.com felt obligated to our loyal fans to do some digging (hey its a tough job). We discovered that contrary to orginal reports that Sonia Lo Duca (nee Flores) wasn't just featured in "a spread which appeared only on the magazine's Web site" as stated by a Playboy spokesperson but Sonia Lo Duca actually appeared in two Playboy issues not mention in a full blown DVD titled "Lusty Latin Ladies."
We had hoped to find an actual vid clip of the DVD but no dice. We did get close as we did land these screencaps (click thumbnail at left to enlarge) as well as this play play by MidnightOwlVideoReviews who took the time to transcrible the segment, titled "Desperado," which according to their detailed report appears at 43:46-49:50 into the DVD.
Sonia Flores (black dress at left in all the pictures) and Amelia Nicole Garduno (orange dress) cross paths with a guy carrying a guitar and walking along the road. The girls stop to give him a lift. They take him back to a white, two-story house. They sit outside by a fire and the girls start to dance for the guy. They pull at their dresses and they dance around in their thongs. They take the panties off together and pose together in the nude and the camera gets some close-ups of their bodies. The girls continue to pose and fondle themselves. The segment ends with the girls leading the guy inside the house.
Well only time will tell just how "Desperado" Lo Duca will get in presenting his side of the case.. will Paul track down the "guitar guy" and use him as a character witness? We actually think Lo duca should consider dropping the case since we discovered Sonia's other major cast credits include "Biggie and Tupac." Sonia starred in the biopic as "herself" so before Mo begins his battle with his babe we suggest the backstop get some backup... if she was connected with Biggie and Tupac who knows we could have a full blown east coast/west coat battle (she resides in San Antonio, he in NYC) on our hands here.
In the meantime thewadeblogs.com is on the case. We plan to have the other two Playboys Sonia was featured in shortly. Stay posted.
HOOTERS NOTE: During our digging we also discovered Sonia had worked as a Hooters waitress in San Antonio posing for the Hooters calendar's in 1999 and 2000 so given our recent report on famous Hooters girls going onto bigger and better things... as Sonia def. fits that bill.
