The Wade Blogs: Haley Joel Osment pulls a Zidane... Soccer Vid & our sports conspiracy theory

TheWadeBlogs has their own conspiracy theory involving Haley Joel Osment's "so-called" car accident. Considering his next film called Home of the Giants involves sports (Hayley portrays a pint sized journalist who uncovers a point fixing scandal on his high school's basketball team during their run to states) we think Osment might be imitating the recent actions of other athletes, specifically Big Ben and Zizou, in order to make some headlines of his own and drum up publicity for his new movie.

While everyone is saying Haley Joel might have pulled a Billy Joel (there are rumors swirling that drinking might have been involved) upon viewing the accident scene pictures they tend to remind us more of the steely, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's recent motorcycle crash. Could the accident just be a ruse put on by the smart (evidently he carrys a 4.0), young star? After all before imitating Big Ben by totaling his Saturn***, check out Haley do his best Zindane impression on the soccer field in this real life video. After his own tackle gets a little too personal (hey, where's the red card?) watch Haley get taken down hard in this popular Youtube video. This all strikes us as more than just mere coincidence esp. given Haley happens to be a self professed "sports fan" as evidenced by his own website which states he enjoys "Basketball, Golf, Baseball, and Football."

*** Before you check out the real-life soccer clip of Osment below theWadeblogs has to digress and ask... given the Sixth Sense coin he has had to have earned why the Hell was Hayley as of yesterday driving around an 11 year old 1995 Saturn? Maybe the lure of cheap auto insurance was just too much. Check out Heather Locklear's reaction to Haley at the recent Michale Douglas celebrity golf event in the picture provided. Did Locklear leer into the future and see "Dead People" and perhaps forsee Haley's accident/ruse?
