Ole... now bullfighting goes pink?
If you thought baseball was the only sport to turn tradition on its head over the weekend check out these bullfighting pictures (REUTERS/Susana Vera) in which the matador, Spain's Eduardo Gallo, chose to adorne himself in pink socks and sport a pink cape.
Whether there was a cause behind the color selection like with MLB and breast cancer or whether Eduardo was just feeling "festive" and "fairy" for the San Isidro bullfighting fair... the color choice definately turned some heads (fans as well as the bull for that matter) at Madrid's Las Ventas.
MLB's pink experiement, as reported by Deadspin, got some mixed results as well. Pitchers like the Yank's Big Unit seemed to be baffled (that might just be Johnson) while opposing hitters using the bats seemed to be in the pink going a combined 3-for-4 against Randy. Milwaukee's Bill Hall, who smacked a dinger with the bat, took the bull by the horns and announced that he would continue to use the pink bat even though MLB only sanctioned the switch for Mother's Day.

Holy Beep !
