Although the Pirates and Cubs did in fact face off this weekend, our headline doesn't refer to Pittsburgh taking on Chicago's 300 game winner (Greg Maddux actually did't start in the series).

Our tagline refers to Pitt (with mitt) playing baseball with his adoptive son Maddux on the sands of Namibia late last week. We can only wonder if Brad shared the finer points of the game with the tot on their exotic sandlot... like how in the world one gets to second base with Angelina.

All of the gossip rags have been a buzz on Brad's mohawk (reportedly given to him by Jolie) but thewadeblogs.com theorizes that Pitt was probably just trying to get into character to play ball with his kid so he channeled the movie Major League ala Pedro Cerrano.

Who knows if the haircut is for a specific role but we can only speculate on the baseball themed project his haircut could be for : 
1. Major League IV : Team Namibia Wins the 2009 World Baseball Classic
2. Angelina in the Outfield
3. Sandlot III : From the Beaches of Namibia (Yes, believe it or not there was actually a 2nd installment of the classic kid movie)
4. The Yankee Clipper (Here are some plot points: Pitt plays an average Joe. He's the Yankees barber turned clean-up hitter who leads the team to a World Series. Special cameos include Don Mattingly and Johnny Damon.)
